  • Hello all!
I have not posted in quite some time, but I thought I would try to resume.
Here are some hot rolls that I made today. I really like these, and they are great with honey or just plain. Here is the recipe:

  • Yeast Rolls

    1 pkg. active yeast
    1 c. warm water
    3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups flour ( We use 1 1/2 white and 1 1/2 wheat)

  • Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar, oil, salt, egg and flour, stirring to combine well. Let rise one and one half hours. Form dough into balls the size of walnuts. Let rise again one and one half hours. Bake in a preheated 350* oven for 10 to 15 minutes.

We have a bread machine which is really handy for this recipe! Hope you like it!
I have also been doing some sewing this week, which has been really fun. I made two aprons! :-D (Maybe I can post pictures of them later.) I've been thinking about doing some gardening as well.

    Well, better go for now.
    Chloe :-)
