~A Cute Canine~ :-)

Wednesday morning, as Mom was washing a few dishes, she looked out the window into the sunny back yard, under the play set at what she first thought was one of our cats. Upon further viewing she discovered that it was not one of the cats....but a dog!
Once the "news"of the dog was announced to the household, the back windows were soon occupied with curious observer's :-)
After watching the dog a while, we decided to see if the dog was friendly. My brother Travis went out first and after receiving a friendly greeting from the dog my younger brother's and I followed. :-)
Later that day we got a call from Dad who was wondering if we had found the dog yet. (He had noticed it on his way out to work that morning.) Dad said he thought it was a Boston terrier mix.
That evening Dad called a few people who live around here to see if they had lost a dog but no one has claimed it so it might have been dumped off. The little dog has a sweet disposition and likes to be around people.
We haven't had a dog in a long time and it's kind of funny to see the the contrast between the way cats behave and the way a dog behaves. :-)
If no one winds up claiming her (the dog) who knows......we might just keep her! :-)

I am not sure what the kind of dog that is. Does he have puppy teeth? Your grandmother said he might have some pit bull in him. He is very small for a pit bull. He may have some Boston Terrier in him. I'm really not sure. Sorry I could not help! He looks like he has some kind of terrier in him.

Grandma,
Thanks for commenting! I'm glad you got to visit my blog! :-)

Ashely,
We'll have to see about the dogs teeth. :-) Thanks so much for checking on the dog!

One of our dogs, Buttercup, was abandonned at my Grandma's apartment when we found her 9 years ago. She is a Golden Retriever/Chow mix. She was so little, too little to have been separated from her mother. We went all over that part of town, trying to find her owner, but no one claimed her. A few days later, there were several adds about other dogs that matched her description that had been found all over the place. We decided that someone just took a litter of puppies and left them all over town. We decided to keep her, and she is still with us to this day!
